Executive Summary
Board member and Exec VP Gerald Dirvin retires, effective April 30. Dirvin, a 34-year veteran of P&G's food/beverage and paper businesses, led the firm's recent restructuring initiative. GTE Corp. CEO Charles Lee will succeed Dirvin on the P&G board, effective March 8. Separately, P&G Secretary Ashley Ford will retire on March 11. Ford will be replaced by Counsel-Securities Terry Overbey, who will continue to oversee P&G's securities law matters.
