Representatives of the National Nutritional Foods Association are scheduled to meet with officials from the White House on Oct. 20 to present their case for dietary supplement bills introduced by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and Rep. Bill Richardson (D-N.M.). New NNFA President Joseph Bassett also sent letters to every member of Congress on Oct. 12, urging support for the Hatch/Richardson bills, as well as letters on Oct. 4 to every cosponsor of the legislation thaking them for their support.
