Executive Summary
Medical Officer Linda Katz, MD, takes over leadership of the division on an acting basis from Medical Officer Curtis Wright, MD, who held the acting director post this summer. Katz has been a medical officer with Pilot Drug Evaluation since 1989, and has been a practicing rheumatologist/internist since 1987, following completion of a rheumatology fellowship at George Washington University. She is appointed for three months; the division plans to "rotate" another staff member into the position in mid-January.
