Executive Summary
Tells FDA in Sept. 21 letter that it would "be pleased to accept the responsibility of supplying" the reference standard for an "extra strength" (1,500 ppm) fluoride dentifrice to the U.S. Pharmacopeia in response to the agency's recent request ("The Tan Sheet" Sept. 27, p. 18). If a dentifrice with a 1,500 ppm limit is allowed under the OTC anticaries final monograph, Chese-Pond's said it could supply the reference standard "within 60 days".
