Executive Summary
Plans fourth quarter launch of Clear Away One Step Wart Remover and One Step Corn Remover line extensions. Both products consist of adhesive strips medicated with 40% salicylic acid that are applied to the wart or corn. Messner, Vetere, Berger, McNamee, Schmetterer is developing TV spots as well as print ads for magazines including Redbook, Ladies Home Journal and Better Homes and Gardens. The wart and corn removers will carry the taglines "conceals as it heals" and "cushions as it heals," respectively. Schering-Plough has previously sold a Clear Away wart remover patch that is not a one-step product.
