Seoul, Korea-based Pulmuwon Foods' American marketing arm introduces four "Korean" herbal complexes: ginseng fortified with royal jelly and octacosanol; garlic fortified with vitamins B, C and E; reisch mushroom extract fortified with ogapi and cinnamon; and Sweet Neutralizer derived from "Gymnema sylvestre, an herbal medicine that has been used to control blood glucose levels for more than two thousand years in India," promotional materials state. All four products are available in bottles of 80 two-piece, hard-shell capsules. Pulmuwon U.S.A.'s 150-person sales force targets mainly west coast markets, but the company said it expects to achieve nationwide distribution for the herbals by 1995. Pulmuwon Foods posted 1992 worldwide sales of $ 128 mil.
