Increases funding by 50% for its Bristol-Myers Squibb/Mead Johnson Unrestricted Nutrition Grants Program, the firm reported Aug. 2. Beginning in the spring of 1994, grant institutions are slated to receive $ 500,000 in yearly increments of $ 100,000. Grant participants, who currently receive $ 50,000 annually, will receive an additional $ 50,000 for the remainder of their participation. Since 1980, 23 institutions have received five-year $ 250,000 nutrition research grants through the BMS program.
