Executive Summary
FDA extends comment period to Sept. 20 on a March call for comments on the safety of aluminum as an antiperspirant ingredient. The comment period was extended by 60 days at the request of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association, which asked FDA for additional time to assess references provided after publication of the March notice ("The Tan Sheet" March 29, p. 13).
