Executive Summary
Adds two non-drowsy caplet products to its DayQuil line -- Sinus Pressure and Congestion Relief, and Sinus Pressure and Pain Relief. Two new softgel products also will augment the Vicks Formula 44 line -- Non-drowsy Cold & Cough, and Cold, Flu & Cough. The four products will roll out in late July, P&G said. FSIs are scheduled in October and will include two dual-page ads, one featuring the line extensions. P&G reported that it expects to spend over $ 70 mil. across its cough/cold category in the coming year. In the future, the firm plans to launch a Vicks Children's NyQuil Headcold and Allergy product
