Executive Summary
April free-standing insert promotes entire Maalox product line, Perdiem laxative and Ascriptin pain reliever with $ 2.50 in coupons and a mail-in offer for a $ 1.25 rebate and five $ 1 next- purchase coupons for Maalox products. The two-page spread is the first "Maalox family" FSI for 1993, as well as the first FSI since the March launch of Maalox Antacid Caplets and Maalox HRF Tablets ("The Tan Sheet" March 15, p. 1). RPR says it is also stepping up sampling of Ascriptin and Perdiem, and supporting Maalox Antacid Caplets in TV spot tags. Three Maalox line extensions -- Maalox Anti-Gas, Maalox Anti-Diarrheal and Maalox Daily Fiber Therapy -- are due in stores in late spring/early summer, to be followed by FSIs in August and October.
