Executive Summary
Launches Lactofree milk-based, lactose-free infant formula. Available this month, Lactofree substitutes glucose polymers for lactose. Mead calls the product the "first new category of infant formula in the U.S. in more than 25 years." It will come in 14- ounce powder, 13-ounce concentrated liquid and 32-ounce ready-to- use formula containers.
