Executive Summary

President J. B. Cordaro has headed the trade association since 1982, serving as a spokesperson for the dietary supplement industry. Cordaro has been active for 28 years in domestic and international food, nutrition and agricultural issues, and has held senior positions with the Food and Safety Council, Congress, the OTA and the State Dept.'s Agency for International Development. "The Tan Sheet" inadvertently misspelled Cordaro's name in a story appearing in the March 22 issue (p. 12) on a presentation by the CRN president on the current climate in Washington for dietary supplements.
