Executive Summary
The Together Rx drug discount program is shutting down in February, with members told that they may have better options in the new health care exchange. That message unfortunately resonates differently than intended in the current climate of concern about insurers cancelling policies ahead of the exchange launch. But, overall, Big Pharma probably has more reasons than ever to maintain patient assistance programs, at least until the ACA launch shakes out.
