Medicare Rx Auto-Enrollment By States Should Go To “Preferred” Plans, Commission Says

State pharmaceutical assistance programs should be allowed to choose one or more “preferred” plans to automatically enroll their members in, the State Pharmaceutical Assistance Transition Commission says in preliminary recommendations to CMS. SPAPs should also be allowed to act as a Medicare prescription drug plan for their members, the group says.
