Chart: Senate HELP Committee Members’ Election Scenario

Senate HELP Committee Members' Election Scenario

Below is the current membership list of the Senate Finance Committee, with the year each senator's current term ends and notes on the 2010 campaign; all poll figures are from the most recent Rasmussen poll for that race. The makeup of the committee in the 112th Congress will be determined not only by individual retirements and election results, but by any change in the overall number of each party's Senators in the chamber, since the ratio of party members is reflected in committee membership.

For names of senators:
Regular print = not up for re-election this year
Bold print = up for re-election this year
Bold/italicized print = retiring
Bold/underlined print = at risk of losing election
