Turning the lights out at Schering-Plough
Schering-Plough is named the 2009 "ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year" by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for outstanding energy management and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The firm's Cleveland, Tenn., plant recently earned an "ENERGY STAR" from EPA for ranking in the top 25 percent of energy performance nationwide by using nearly 35 percent less energy than similar pharmaceutical plants
