Medco cuts generic prices for small firms

Medco is introducing a generic prescription drug insurance product for small and mid-sized companies that it says will cost employers 50% less than traditional plans. The Generics First program offers a 90-day supply of any one of 2,000 generic medications through Medco's mail-service pharmacies for a $10 copay, and brand and specialty drugs are available at discounted rates.
