HHS’ O’Grady resigns

HHS Assistant Secretary for Planning & Evaluation Michael O'Grady will resign from the post effective at the end of October, HHS announces Sept. 21. O'Grady is departing for personal reasons and says he is interested in joining the private sector. A successor is yet to be named. O'Grady was appointed to the position in 2003 by former HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson and served on the Task Force on Drug Importation.
