Executive Summary
On Oct. 29, the committee will discuss clinical design of studies for antimicrobials to treat acute bacterial sinusitis. FDA issued a draft guidance on acute bacterial sinusitis treatment in July 1998 (1"The Pink Sheet" July 27, 1998, p. 25). The meetings will be held at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg, Md. beginning at 8 a.m. on Oct. 28 and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 29.
