Executive Summary
Federal Trade Commission "commenced an investigation" of Rite Aid Sept. 11 on "matters relating to consumer privacy and advertising," the chain drug store says in Oct. 15 10-Q filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission. Walgreens said it has received a letter from FTC requesting information on patient privacy and marketing programs.
