Ex-FDA commissioner joins Panacea board
Former FDA Commissioner Frank Young, MD, is named to Rockville, Md.-based Panacea's board of directors. Young was FDA commissioner from 1984 to 1989. The functional genomics and proteomics firm Panacea, formed in April 1999, has 15 employees. The company expects to begin clinical trials with its lead drug candidate PAN-355 for glioblastoma multiforme by the end of the year...
