Medicaid Rx prices for seniors
Second waiver approved by HHS Sept. 18 allows Florida to require pharmacies participating in Medicaid "to give price discounts to Medicare beneficiaries similar to those required by the Medicaid program," HHS said. The National Association of Chain Drug Stores requested the state seek a waiver for the program, which was created by state law in July 2000 (1"The Pink Sheet" June 11, p. 30)
