Former Novartis Pharmaceuticals President and CEO Wayne Yetter is named Chairman and CEO of IMS Health spin-off Synavant. Yetter has been IMS Chief Operating Officer since 1999, following his departure from Novartis in 1997. Synavant, formed through the Aug. 30 spin off of IMS' Strategic Technologies and Clark-O'Neill divisions, will provide marketing, technology and other services to pharmaceutical and biotech firms
