Prescription drug sales in independent pharmacies increased 9.5% in 1998, National Community Pharmacist Association Exec VP Calvin Anthony told the association's annual meeting in Las Vegas Oct. 25, citing figures from the recently released 1999 NCPA/Searle Digest.
