Eckerd is mailing the unclaimed remainders of any partially filled prescriptions to its customers following a Feb. 3 complaint filed by the U.S. government and the state of Florida in Tampa federal court maintaining that the drug store chain filed claims to federally-funded health insurance programs for full prescriptions that were only partially filled.
