Nutri/System "phen/Pro" weight-loss campaign draws objection from Lilly.
NUTRI/SYSTEM "PHEN/PRO" PROMOTION DRAWS OBJECTION FROM LILLY in a Sept. 22 letter to the weight-loss center network. The letter maintains that Nutri/System has been conducting a promotional campaign regarding the use of Lilly's antidepressant Prozac (fluoxetine) in combination with phentermine that includes direct-to-consumer television ads. "This campaign has occurred without the agreement, cooperation or knowledge of Lilly," the letter declares.
