V-A CENTER SAVES $15,000 FROM NORVASC TO PLENDIL SWITCH, Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System Pharmacy Services Coordinator Jon Folstad told the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists mid-year meeting Dec. 10 in New Orleans. V-A Connecticut converted 110 out of the 577 patients on Pfizer's Norvasc (amlodipine) to Astra Merck's Plendil (felodipine) over six months earlier this year.
