INTEGRATED HEALTH SERVICES/CORAM MERGER VALUED AT $655 MIL. based on equity value of $280 mil. and IHS' assumption of Coram's debt, the companies announced Oct. 21. According to the terms of the deal, Coram stockholders will receive about $5.50 worth of IHS common stock for each common share of Coram with a fixed exchange rate. IHS will issue .2111 shares of IHS common stock for each share of Coram common stock currently outstanding. IHS expects to issue approximately 10.8 mil. shares of common stock by the completion of the merger.
