IBM/WALGREEN's Rx ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM SAVES 44› on every prescription that is electronically transferred from prescriber to pharmacist under the Pre-Scribe pilot program, Systemed Director of Legal Services Patricia Staub said at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy information management meeting in Itasca, Ill. Sept. 16. Walgreen's sold the rights to its Pre-Scribe script transfer system to IBM subsidiary Integrated Systems Solutions Corp. in the summer of 1995.
