PCS Maryland employees and retirees pharmacy benefit to be AWP minus 13% plus $2.50.T&G-10

PCS MARYLAND EMPLOYEES/RETIREES RETAIL PHARMACY CONTRACT is AWP minus 13% plus $2.50 in dispensing fees. The contract for the Maryland state employees and retirees pharmacy benefit was awarded to PCS on Sept. 5. A previous pharmacy benefit contract won by Medco that proposed an average wholesale price minus 15% plus $2 for brands and $2.50 for generics drew vocal opposition from area drug stores.
