ADVANCED MAGNETICS FERIDEX CONTRAST AGENT TO BE PRICED NEAR $150 per 5 mL single dose vial, Cambridge, Mass.-based Advanced Magnetics reported Sept. 3. The roll-out of Feridex (ferumoxides injectable solution) is expected to occur in the fourth quarter following the Aug. 30 FDA approval of the agent. Advanced Magnetics will receive a $5 mil. milestone payment from its marketing partner Berlex for the approval, as well as marketing royalties.
