HMO PHARMACY EXPENDITURES EXPECTED TO GROW 4.5% PER MEMBER IN 1997, Emron's 1996 survey for the CibaGeneva Pharmacy Benefit Report finds. A survey of 49 pharmacy directors from HMOs covering 9.5 mil. patients found an average projected drug budget of $187.20 per member per year for 1997, up from an estimated $179 per member per year in 1996. The average actual budget for 1995 was $170.30, the survey found.
