Export law requires only simple notification to FDA, staffer to Rep. Upton tells FDLI.

Executive Summary

DRUG EXPORTS REQUIRE ONLY "SIMPLE NOTIFICATION" TO FDA, Rep. Upton's (R-Mich.) legislative director Jeff Myers declared during a Food & Drug Law Institute meeting on the recently-enacted FDA reform law June 27 in Washington, D.C. "The law that we worked on that was passed is very clear: a simple notification," Myers said. "Any expansion of that from the agency, any requirement of sending more information will generate significant Congressional interest."
