FDA grassroots meetings: Series of four meetings in late June and early July are designed to give FDA suggestions on how to improve policy and procedures related to use of private labs to establish product compliance with FDA regs, the agency states. FDA is seeking input from import, domestic and private lab communities, trade associations and interested individuals. The series of four meetings are scheduled for June 25 in Brooklyn, June 28 in Orlando, July 9 in Houston and July 11 in Oakland.
