MERCK VAQTA TO BE INTRODUCED AT $45.73 FOR SINGLE ADULT DOSE at the catalog price, the company said. A five-dose pack of the hepatitis A vaccine will list for $43.14 per dose. The pediatric version will be introduced at $22.86 for a single dose or $21.57 per dose for a five-pack of single doses at the catalog price. Vaqta received approval March 29 for active pre-exposure prophylaxis against hepatitis A disease and will be available in May ("The Pink Sheet" April 1, T&G-13).
