HELICOBACTER PYLORI ONLINE INFORMATION CENTER is sponsored by Astra Merck and developed by Charlottesville,Va.-based International Research Foundation for Helicobacter and Intestinal Immunology. The H. pylori center provides therapy choices for patients infected with the bacterium that causes peptic ulcers depending on "the ability of the patient to comply with their regimen, their financial status (including whether insurance coverage is available), the presence of or absence of antibiotic allergies, and whether the patient has been treated unsuccessfully" for peptic ulcers caused by H. pylori in the past.
