Glaxo Wellcome: Closing of prescription manufacturing operations in Greenville, N.C. facility is announced July 25 by the company. Prescription manufacturing will be centered in Zebulon, N.C., as Rx operations in Greenville are phased out over the next five years with approximately 1,000 positions to be eliminated.
