AETNA HEALTH PLANS FIRST QUARTER SCRIPT COVERAGE GREW 19.8% to 4.8 mil. projected prescriptions in the first quarter of 1995, according to Walsh America data reported June 1. Aetna ranks as the second largest corporate managed care organization in terms of scripts, according to Walsh, and is the largest among for-profit MCOs. The nationwide Blue Cross/Blue Shield associated plans ranked number one by far in terms of prescriptions at 25.8 mil. for the quarter, an increase of 9.4%.
