NORPLANT FOUNDATION REMOVAL ASSISTANCE NETWORK information is available to low-income, uninsured Medicaid-ineligible women who want removal of the Wyeth-Ayerst implantable five-year contraceptive Norplant (levonorgestrel) by calling 1-800-760-9030, the non-profit Norplant Foundation announced March 9. Foundation staffers will determine the financial eligibility and insurance status of each caller and mail an authorization form with a list of local Norplant Foundation Removal Assistance Network providers.
