ROCHE REDESIGNING SALES FORCE WITH 20 LOCAL BUSINESS UNITS divided among four U.S. regions as part of the ongoing integration of Roche and Syntex, the company said in a recently-released year-end review. Under the new configuration for the marketing and selling division, four regional VPs of business operations will oversee 20 local business units, which are now under development. The new field force "consists of multidisciplinary teams that understand local customer and market needs, yet have the flexibility to offer innovative business solutions," Roche said.
