THE VANDERVEER GROUP v. MEDICAL MARKETING GROUP SUITS SETTLED out of court for $1.4 mil., TVG announced Dec. 14. The arrangement settles three suits alleging copyright infringement, false representation, breach of contract and other charges filed by the health care promotional firm TVG against Blue Bell, Penn.- based Medical Marketing Group and other defendants since July 1993. The settlement releases MMG, its Springhouse, Penn.-based subsidiary TeleRx, former TVG VP Michael Petruny and TVG founder and former Chief Creative Officer Richard Vanderveer from further litigation associated with the law suits. Petruny was a TVG VP before he joined MMG in April 1993.
