REXALL SUNDOWN ENTERING Rx GENERIC MANAGED CARE market via an alliance with the German pharmaceutical manufacturer Ratiopharm, the Boca Raton, Fla.-based vitamin, dietary supplements and OTC drugs manufacturer and supplier announced Nov. 2. Rexall Sundown formed a sales division targeted at managed care and institutional providers, the Pharmaceutical and Health Services division, in November 1993 to market some 250 vitamin, nutritional and OTC products under the Rexall Managed Care label. That division, which is headed by VP-Sales and Marketing John Isakson, will now offer prescription generic drugs as well.
