CDC TO PROCESS 80 MIL. VACCINEE DOSES FY 1995 under the Clinton Administration's Vaccines for Children program (VFC) scheduled to begin Oct. 1. The total number of doses to be handled under VFC will include about 26 mil. doses that are estimated to be needed for catching up underimmunized children with their full vaccine schedules, 8-10 mil. doses lost to wastage and the 44 mil. doses allocated for administering the program and replenishing the vaccine supply in the field, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates.
