UNIVAX STAPH VACCINE PHASE II TRIALS UNDER WAY, Univax Clinical Operations Director Mitchell Katz, PhD, told the Cambridge Healthtech Second International Conference on Vaccines: New Technologies and Applications in Alexandria, Va. March 23. The Phase II trial began in August 1993 and just completed enrollment; the study will run for a year, testing the Staphylococcus aureus types 5 and 8 vaccine, Katz said.
