FDA FORMING TASK FORCE TO CONSIDER OTC ANALGESIC INDICATIONS for Rx-to-OTC switch reviews, Pilot Drug Evaluation Staff Acting Director Linda Katz, MD, reported to the agency's Arthritis Drugs Advisory Committee Jan. 28. Katz said the decision to form the task force was due to "some of the comments and concerns that were raised at the last two advisory committee meetings." FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation & Research will oversee the establishment of the task force.
