Executive Summary
Chairman William Haddad announces Nov. 3 that he will resign as chairman, effective Dec. 31. Haddad will remain on GPIA's board and continue to chair its international committee. Currently chairman of MIR Pharmaceutical, Haddad says he is working with partners in Israel, Holland and the U.S. to establish a generic drug industry in the former Soviet Union. Haddad had been with GPIA since its founding in 1981, serving as its first president.
