Executive Summary

Ex-President Roger Jordan pleads nolo contendere to one federal count of price-fixing in Baltimore federal court Oct. 26. Jordan was sentenced by Judge John Hargrove to one year probation, four months home detention and a $20,000 fine. Jordan and Vitarine were charged last December with conspiring with Bolar and its VP-Financial Affairs Lawrence Raisfeld to fix the price of generic Dyazide. Vitarine pleaded no contest Sept. 22 and was fined $500,000. Bolar (now Circa) and Raisfeld pleaded no contest Oct. 20 ("The Pink Sheet" Oct. 25, In Brief).
