Executive Summary
Former Vitarine VP and director of R&D Steven Colton permanently debarred by FDA via June 17 Federal Register notice. Colton was sentenced on Sept. 6, 1991 to 27 months in jail for three counts of making false statements to FDA concerning bioequivalence studies for Vitarine generic drug products. The purported generic versions of six brandname drugs submitted to an independent testing lab were the innovator products disguised.
