Maxair Autohaler is full trademarked name of new pirbuterol acetate inhalation aerosol ("The Pink Sheet" Dec. 14, 1992, In Brief). The Autohaler, which differs from the Maxair Inhaler press-and-breathe inhaler product, was approved Nov. 30 and will launch sometime in 1993. Boehringer Ingelheim did not develop the drug with 3M.
