Executive Summary
Will process retail drug claims for Massachusetts Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The Mass. Blues contracted last year with Medco to handle mail-service prescriptions ("The Pink Sheet" July 15, 1991, T&G-10). Medco and PCS will share patient information for patients who use both mail and community pharmacy. The national BC/BS already uses PCS Health Systems for its federal government enrollees with drug coverage ("The Pink Sheet" July 20, T&G-2). In addition, PCS, Inc. changed its corporate moniker to PCS Health Systems, Inc., effective Sept. 28. PCS also recently brought on board former IBM exec Lee Bowman as exec VP-sales and marketing.
